Summary of issue:

Tableau - Download View Data command timed out in less time than the command timeout parameters.

Solution:

SUPP ticket was created. Dev determined the Tableau Download View Data command is getting no response from Tableau for 20 seconds while it prepares the payload for download. We've been interpreting this as a disconnection or timeout on the Tableau side as there's no sign of a keep-alive message, but we should extend this timeout as it appears the command can take up to 30 seconds to respond.

 

Dev increased read timeout to 3 minutes.
